AUTOMATED SYSTEMS

Métro-Mesures has designed and manufactured quite complex system for chemical measurements. These automated systems are easily controlled via a graphic interface.
Our goal is to incorporate a maximum of variables in the automated system, to allow for more time efficient experiments.

  • 1996 Manufacturing of a module to distribute granitic water (taken at a depth of 600 meters) intended to feed a series of manipulators. The pressure of the water was maintained the same as where it was taken, the feeding was automated and all parts in contact with the water were made in chemical inert material. The customer was ANDRA.
  • 1998 Manufacturing of an automated device for measuring viscosities. The important parameters in this application was repeatability and precision.
  • 1999 Manufacturing of a water generator. Starting from MilliQ water a number of mother solutions could be prepared. All parts in contact with the water were made in chemically inert material.
  • 2001 system for study the behavior of the cement during the phase of cure.
  • 2002 bench of survey and measure of the inflation withdrawal of the argillite at the contact of air controled à humidity.

 

AUTOCLAVES AND HIGH PRESSURE CELLS

Métro-Mesures has developed a number of autoclaves and triaxial cells and PEEK components.

Operating pressure up to 5 000 bars
Temperatures up to 200 °C

Rdometer cells
Triaxial cells
Multiaxial cells
As well as a number of regulation systems

The areas these cells/systems have been used in are rock mechanics and chemical applications (such as uranium dissolution).

Métro-Mesures developed in collaboration with M. JL Bouchez Team of Pétrophysique Tectonique of Toulouse:
